Writing as Your Healing Practice:

A Workshop to Rewrite Your Relationships in a Dystopian World

Tues. January 21, 2025

4pm PT/7pm ET (90 min)

Recording Available

In a world that feels increasingly disconnected, chaotic, and extractive, systems of oppression impact your relationships. You might experience things like…

Freezing up when you want to speak up. Feeling hopeless about family dynamics ever improving. Wondering who you are outside of external expectations. Not knowing how to work toward systemic change when you often feel so distant from building bridges to the people closest to you.

It doesn’t have to stay this way.

Writing offers a powerful tool for healing, helping you reconnect to your inner wisdom, transform harmful patterns, and create meaningful change in your relationships.

Rewriting my relationships has helped me:

  1. Approach conversations from a place of care, not control.
  2. Create better boundaries with my work.
  3. Recognize my shadow self during hard family conversations.

This free workshop will give you tools to reclaim your power and use your words so you can rewrite the the relationship you have with yourself, others, and the world in uncertain times.

But what does it mean to rewrite relationships???

Rewriting relationships is a magical spell! It receives your expression, integrates what's coming up in your mind-body, and creates new possibilities through the written word.

When we do this practice together, we will:

  1. EXCAVATE - reflecting on how you got here and which systems conditioned you.
  2. TRANSFORM - writing out possibilities for transformation based on what was excavated.
  3. ACT - knowing the next best action based on the way you integrated your mind and body while excavating and transforming through writing.

This will all be based on writing prompts I give you that incorporate extractive systems and relational dynamics.

You'll leave this workshop with at least one step you can take in a relationship you have with yourself, someone, and/or the world.

Hi, I'm Nisha!

I used to feel like personal development and self-care were too selfish.

The thing is, what's happening within us is incredibly connected to the world around us. Patriarchy makes us have no boundaries. Capitalism makes us feel like we are never enough. Racism invites imposter syndrome.

Writing saved me. It helped me make sense of the world around me and my relationships, especially the ones that shaped me the most. Most importantly, my relationships became better because of it.

As a Life Coach for Liberatory Dreamers and Writer, I love to use writing as a tool for connecting to life (which includes yourself).

Join this transformative workshop and discover how writing can help you rewrite your relationships and reclaim your power in a dystopian world.
